Try, try again

I'll admit, last year's Halloween party was less than a success. But I've decided to give the idea one more shot. I'm scaling back a bit this year, and inviting a small group of friends to watch a couple horror flicks. Should be fun! I've included some prototype invites for y'all to see (I just blacked out some personal info). I put all the pages in order. Tell me what you think!

Order of Samhain Award - Part II!

It's that times again, boils and ghouls! I've selected another lucky member. Drum roll, please.....

VICTOR "UNDERTAKER" IVES, OF HAUNTED HOT SAUCE!!!

I firmly believe this guy is truly a Renaissance Haunter. I mean, Mr. Ives has done a lot: After all, He's

A Haunter

Hot Sauce Master

Costume Maker

Pumpkin Liqueur Drinker

And an actor in Rob Zombie's Halloween 2!

He's also the maker of what I firmly believe is the best hot sauce in the world, not least of which because it's zombie themed! While his shop isn't open again (yet) I HIGHLY recommend you check it out once it's open. Also check out his blog, and his Flickr account. And when you go to his blog, tell him HalloweeNut sent ya!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again

I like too many themes. It’s hard for me to make up my mind when choosing the theme for this year’s haunt. It was happening constantly last year, and twice this year. I also recall saying that I’d be doing a smaller haunt at my Dad’s house. Well, that’s changed, too. I’m doing the haunt at my Mom’s house again, and we all decided on a theme, and I think it should really fun, and different. It will be an easy to do theme, but it won’t just be a re-do of the “Scarecrow Hill” theme. I won’t be saying what it is just yet, but I’ll leave you with this clue:

Baron Samedi

See if you can figure out what the theme is….heh heh heh

Order of Samhain Award

I've decided to put together a little award for Halloween/Horror bloggers I feel deserve recognition for their tireless dedication to Halloween. I call it the Order of Samhain. This is the first time I've done anything like this, but here it goes. The first Recipient of the Order of Samhain is...

Marrow, of House of Marrow!

This young Halloween blogger hasn't been around in the Halloween Community for very long, but he's already made a HUGE splash, with his ghoulish groundbreaker zombies, and classic Hallowe'en style. This is even more impressive, considering he's from New Zealand, where Halloween falls in their Spring. I've included Marrow's 2010 haunt video below. Enjoy, and congrats to Marrow! For more info and picture, check out his blog (www.marrowhouse.blogspot.com).
